The U.S. Conference of Mayors will vote on a resolution today supporting creating an early learning nation by 2025. In North Carolina, the following mayors signed on to the Resolution before the meeting:
- Concord: J. Scott Padgett
- Durham: William Bell
- Indian Trail: Michael Alvarez
- Monroe: Bobby Kilgore
- New Bern: Dana E. Outlaw
- Rocky Mount: David Combs
- Winston Salem: Allen Joines
