Cameron Cochran
Cameron Cochran is the Executive Director of Wilson Forward, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing collaborative solutions in education, workforce development, and health and wellness in Wilson County. She joined Wilson Forward in 2018 and has helped guide the organization’s growth as a backbone for cross-sector partnerships that strengthen local systems and improve long-term outcomes for children and families.
Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Cameron has built her career around community-centered work across both urban and rural settings. Prior to moving to Wilson, she worked in direct service at Joseph’s House, a residential care home providing holistic support for unhoused adults with serious illness in Washington, DC, and later served as Assistant Director of The Cline Family Foundation, supporting philanthropic initiatives across the Southeast. Her professional experience includes nonprofit leadership, community collaboration, and strategic planning.
Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Business Administration from Barton College. She is deeply passionate about Wilson County and committed to strengthening the conditions that allow young children, families, and communities across North Carolina to thrive.
