  • MHTA not only looks at things through a racial equity lens but also through a focused community culture lens.
Community Voice
  • MHTA is a non-profit 501c3 Family Run Organization which means that 51% of our board and staff are families with lived experience in navigating services for children/youth with special needs including mental health.
Impact
  • Over the last two years we have educated our partners on the importance of a Family Driven, Youth Guided system. This was done through identifying training and resource needs.
Next Steps
  • We will continue to educate, train and provide resources around System of Care and the importance of family and youth voice at ALL levels of processes, planning and policy.
