Rosa Sorto Brown

Rosa serves as the Employer Relations Specialist at the NC Early Childhood Foundation, where she supports expansion of the Family Forward NC® initiative. In this role, she collaborates with employers and community partners to champion family-friendly workplace practices.

As a first-generation American and the first in her family to graduate from college, Rosa is driven by a deep belief in the power of education and opportunity at every stage of life. Her background in community engagement, workforce development, and equity-centered initiatives reflects a strong commitment to uplifting historically underserved communities.

Outside of work, Rosa enjoys discovering local gems across the Triangle and spending time with her family. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health.
