New Year, New Job?

Several of our close partner organizations are ringing in the new year with exciting new job opportunities! 

NC Child is recruiting for a new Policy Director. The Director will lead NC Child’s legislative advocacy efforts and use data and research to analyze how public policy can better support North Carolina’s children and families. The candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to racial equity, and include the voices of children and families in their advocacy. The deadline to submit an application is January 15 and a link to the full job description can be found here.

NC Early Childhood Coalition has two opportunities available: Executive Director/Policy Director and Infant Toddler Early Childhood Project Manager:

  • The Executive Director will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, Policy Committee, staff, Coalition members and lobbying team to build a strong, sustainable organization and to advance policies, programs and funding to support young children’s healthy development and early learning.   • The Infant Toddler Early Childhood Project Manager will focus on infant toddler child care and home visiting/parenting education policy development and promotion, public awareness, community engagement, and education and advocacy efforts with early childhood stakeholders and policymakers. Child Care Services Association seeks a Vice President to lead its T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® National Center and National Policy work. The T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® National Center provides leadership in the early childhood education field to states across the country and to our nation’s policymakers on the critical importance and value of an educated, well-paid and stable early childhood workforce to ensure the long term success of our nation’s children in school and in life.
