Recently, NCECF’s Executive Director, Muffy Grant, had the opportunity to discuss the current early care and education landscape in NC with Rob Schofield of NC Policy Watch. The interview covered where early care and education is struggling in the face of COVID-19 and opportunities for transformation into a more equitable and universally accessible model going forward. However, Rob asked to begin by addressing the “elephant in the room” — the Capitol riots and how to discuss this challenging moment in American history with young children.
