To Better Serve – Share the United Way of North Carolina COVID Impact Survey

United Way of NC (UWNC) has launched a statewide COVID-19 Impact Survey to continue to understand the impact of the virus so it can best support the needs of North Carolinians. At the community level, United Ways are adjusting their strategies and fundraising efforts to ensure that families have resources to step out of unemployment, meet their basic needs, and determine how to best navigate their future.

UWNC’s effort to identify the economic impact of COVID-19 will be supported by data collected through the United Way of NC COVID-19 Impact Survey. The ten-minute survey is available for every household – in English and Spanish – to be completed on or before August 21.

UWNC needs your help so that survey results represent every geographic corner of NC, every population, race and ethnicity, and every category of financial means. Please distribute the survey widely to your employees, organizational partners, and other community-level colleagues. You can reach out to Julia Van Patter at jvanpatter@unitedwaync.org with any questions.

The survey will close on August 21 and preliminary results will be released in September. Be sure to complete it yourself and encourage your family and personal networks to do the same!
