A few weeks back our award-winning First 2000 Days campaign was updated with a new look including the most up to date facts and figures. The educational and engagement tools are simple and compelling and will hold the attention of your supporters and skeptics alike.
First 2000 Days materials are available in both English and Spanish for general audiences as well as faith-based communities, outreach to the business sector and for the law enforcement community. We also license the tools that can be customized for out-of -state use.

Recently, we made a decision to migrate all of the First 2000 Days information to our organizational website and close the dedicated site. The www.first2000days.org will now take you automatically to the new page (in case you forget) on the NCECF site. Everything you need is there and easy to navigate.
Support for early childhood investments has grown significantly in North Carolina since we launched the First 2000 Days campaign and commissioned polling conducted by the bipartisan team of Public Opinion Strategies and Hart Research. Between 2014 and 2018, the percentage of voters saying we should do more for young children’s education has increased by 15 points to 80 percent, including a 15-point increase among Republicans and a 27 percent increase among Independents! Support for expanded investments in the state’s signature early childhood programs, NC Pre-K and Smart Start, also has grown from 74 percent in 2014 to 86 percent in 2018, with Republican support increasing by 22 points.
As the importance of investing in our children in the earliest years builds momentum across NC and the country, the First 2000 Days remains a proven message both at the local and state level.
