Posted January 27, 2014 in

Researchers analyzed 123 comparative studies of early childhood interventions. The authors found that there are substantial positive cognitive benefits for children who attend preschool education programs prior to entering kindergarten. Positive results were also found for children’s social skills and school progress. The study appears in the March 2010 issue of Teachers College Record, Volume 112, Number 3.
