NAEYC Launches Early Childhood Higher Education Degree Directory

With thousands of degree programs available for individuals seeking to begin or advance their professional knowledge and skills in early childhood education, it can be difficult to identify which degree programs are most suited to their career aspirations and their budgets. To help individuals navigate this challenge, The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), with generous support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, has launched the first comprehensive online Early Childhood Higher Education Degree Directory.

The directory also provides a view of the early childhood education degree landscape for the higher education community, allowing faculty, researchers and policy makers to better understand current early childhood degree offerings in their state and across the country.

This will be a “living” directory and will be updated periodically to reflect changes in degree offerings. Faculty are able to update the profiles of their programs at any time as well.
