Communities Earn High Marks on Pathways Conversations

NC Pathways to Grade-Level Reading (Pathways) partnered with 14 communities in North Carolina to provide input into how to create the best possible future for young children in North Carolina. These conversations brought together a diverse group of professionals working with children birth through age eight in the following counties: Bertie, Beaufort, Cabarrus, Chowan/Perquimans, Durham, Forsyth, New Hanover, Onslow, Orange, Union, Wake, Watauga, Yadkin and Yancey counties.

298 participants attended the first Community Conversation meetings between August 10 and September 14, 2017. Approximately 70 percent responded to the evaluation survey electronically or via hard copy. Our external evaluator, Rebecca Z. Davis of RDavis Consulting outlines the findings from the participant evaluations.
