kitcramerOn the October 8, 2016 Asheville Citizen-Times editorial page, Kit Cramer, CEO of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, discusses why early learning is good for business in her community. Cramer, concerned about $3 billion per year that businesses lose due to employee absenteeism as a result of child care issues, shares the Chamber’s policy platform on early learning.  She references NCECF’s poll conducted this summer with the First Five Years Fund to highlight how voters across NC – Republicans, Independents and Democrats agree on the need for greater investments in early childhood.
