Submit Comments for Preschool Development Grants Competition

The Departments of Education (ED) and Health and Human Services (HHS) are seeking input on the $250 million appropriated by Congress for the new Preschool Development Grants competition as they develop  requirements, priorities and selection criteria. The grants will providing funding to states to develop, enhance or expand high-quality preschool programs that include comprehensive services and family engagement for low-income families.

Comment may be submitted via the website or at a public meeting to be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be streamed online.

If you are interested in speaking during the meeting, you must register by sending an e-mail to: preschoolDevelopmentGrant@ed.gov on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Requests for speaking will be honored on a first come, first serve basis.
